Growing up in Niagara, Alyshia played several sports, including soccer and field hockey, which sparked a love of an athletic lifestyle. She has always been an advocate of being active and living a healthy lifestyle and has been a firm believer in aiming high and putting in the work to reach those goals.
After retiring as a competitive athlete, Alyshia took her passion for field hockey and channelled it into guiding others toward their fitness aspirations.
Driven by her love of achieving fitness milestones, she knew she wanted to help others achieve that feeling of personal accomplishment and success. This drew her to opening Vitasana Health + Fitness, becoming a personal trainer and helping clients set attainable goals in a positive environment.
At Vitasana Health + Fitness, Alyshia is all about finding the right balance between hitting the gym and living life to the fullest. She understands how tough it can be to make fitness a regular part of your routine, and she’s here to help you figure it out.
For Alyshia, it’s not just about getting in a good workout. It’s about making healthy choices in all aspects of life; from what you eat to how you move and think. She’s all about helping her clients stay motivated and committed to reaching their goals, whatever they may be.

Chris grew up as a multi sport athlete, with a strong focus in hockey. In addition to this, much of his free time was spent in the back country on trails, and paddling. Later as an adult, he discovered Strength sports. This reinvigorated his appetite for being competitive where he began competing in Weightlifting, and learning about complex strength programming.
In his time in sport, Chris has suffered several injuries of varying severity. Being told he may never be able to fully recover made him determined to learn everything he could, so that he could return to a high level of performance. This led him towards learning about the body, movement, and corrective exercises.
In Chris’s own life, he has a philosophy of being an athlete at any age. With his training, athletic background, and journey through injuries, this has given him a unique insight on how to help others. This led him to becoming a Personal Trainer and Strength & Conditioning coach.
Dysfunction, fragility, and loss of mobility most often arises when we avoid movement. Because of this, Chris believes in the importance of practicing movement, building strength and resiliency to be the best versions of ourselves for both today, and tomorrow. Whether it’s increasing performance, or improving ones quality of life, he has a passion for helping others achieve their goals.

Claire Haines is a registered yoga and mat pilates instructor and has been an endurance athlete her entire life, competing at the national and international level as a swimmer, rower, triathlete, cyclist and long distance runner. As an athlete, Claire knows from experience that mobility and recovery must be prioritized when competing at the top, and she carries this philosophy into her work as a Coach and Personal Trainer.
Claire takes a holistic approach to training and creates programs that combine all aspects of fitness from cardiovascular training to mobility and strength training, so that her clients benefit from well-rounded programs. A lifelong learner, Claire is always studying the latest research in exercise physiology and trains under world-leading coaches so that her knowledge is always expanding and up-to-date. She loves working with the beginner at any stage of their fitness journey as much as loves helping elite athletes get to the next level.
With a young family, Claire knows that training can be difficult to balance with day-to-day life. She will work with you to build a program that will have you progress steadily towards your goals in the context of your overall lifestyle demands. If you're looking for a holistic training program, Claire's vast experience and dynamic coaching style will keep training fun and offer you something you won't get at your typical gym.
Outside of Vitasana, Claire is the Head Coach of Swimming at Ridley College and teaches slow flow and yin yoga around the Niagara community.

Eden is a passionate and energetic coach dedicated to helping clients build strength, confidence, and endurance. As a former competitive rower, basketball, and volleyball athlete, she understands the demands of high-performance training and the importance of structured programming, mental resilience, and functional strength.
As a certified personal trainer, Eden is committed to creating a supportive and motivating environment where clients of all levels can challenge themselves and make real progress. She specializes in strength training, athletic conditioning, and endurance-based workouts, focusing on building a solid foundation and unlocking potential.
Eden brings enthusiasm, accountability, and a results-driven approach to every session. Her goal is to help every client feel capable, strong, and empowered in their fitness journey. With the right mindset and guidance, small steps lead to big breakthroughs—and she’s here to support you every step of the way!
Eden’s philosophy is that fitness should feel fun and rewarding, not intimidating. It’s not about being perfect—it’s about showing up, putting in the effort, and celebrating progress along the way. You’re stronger than you think!
