A little bit about me
Passionate about health, fitness, and wellness!
Growing up in Niagara playing a number of sports, like soccer and field hockey, sparked a love of an athletic lifestyle from a very young age. I’ve always been an advocate of being active and living a healthy lifestyle. I have always set fitness goals for myself and worked hard to hit them!
I love the feeling of achieving a fitness milestone, and I realized I wanted to help other people achieve that feeling of personal accomplishment and success. This drew me to becoming a personal fitness trainer and helping clients set personal goals and helping them work toward reaching them.
Helping people love fitness
I may have been active my whole life but I get it, there’s a lot of fear about fitness for a lot of people. My goal is to always help my clients understand that being fitness doesn’t mean going to the gym all day every day starting on day one of their fitness journeys. It’s important to me to help everyone find a way for fitness to fit into their lives.
It’s also very important to me to help people make the right changes in their lives. Simply working out isn’t enough to create lasting change – and that’s where I come in. I want my clients to feel empowered to change their lives and to understand that living a healthy lifestyle means making some adjustment to how they eat, and even how they think. To really reach their fitness goals and to feel accomplished and proud of themselves, it is work, but my goal is to help my clients keep motivated and committed to their goals.
I am CanFitPro Personal Trainer certified (having completed my certification in March 2017), and I am a Body Harmonics certified Mat Pilates instructor (completed in June 2017). I have also completed my certifcation in Fascial Stretch Therapy to help my clients with rehab, performance, and chronic pain relief.
I offer a number of services for anyone looking to set and meet their fitness goals! My services include: in home personal training where I come to your home, one-on-one or group personal training, personalized meal plans, nutrition guides, and workouts, as well as your own personal motivator to keep you on track and empowered to meet your fitness goals.
